Shortly after a senior employee with the research and development department of a pharmaceutical company changed to a competitor, this company launched a product whose consistency was similar to a planned launch of the employee’s previous company and also aimed at the same target group. The company’s senior management suspected a case of corporate espionage. Through analyzing the computer systems used and further investigations, Prevent was able to prove that the former employee, before he left, had copied sensitive development data which he passed on to his new employer. Now it’s in the hands of the lawyers.
